Here's some more information about Rebecca. Rebecca graduated with an honours BA from Queen’s University and studied primary education at the University of Strathclyde in Glasglow. Rebecca taught overseas for many years developing her own understanding of international-mindedness and fostering it in the classroom. She started her teaching career at Kabira International School in Kampala, Uganda (Now KISU) before moving on to work at the British International School in Shanghai, China. It was at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong, an IB World School, where Rebecca had the opportunity to become a qualified and experienced PYP (Primary Years Programme) teacher. She returned to Canada in 2011 and began working at another IB World School, Upper Canada College. Rebecca returned to Hong Kong and the Canadian International School in 2014 to continue her PYP journey. Currently she is working on completing her Masters of Education at OISE in Leadership and Administration. She is also working on her creations as an aspiring children’s book author. Rebecca lives in Hong Kong with her husband, their toddler (who continuously demonstrates the magic of inquiry!) and their soon-to-be new baby. |
